The new showcase area will launch in April and will feature some of the best emerging talent from music to comedy and spoken word.
Sessions will be a versatile space that can be used for a wide variety of performances.
A fully equipped bar area has been installed replacing the former office space along with a state of the art sound and lighting system.
The first confirmed acts are local bands Pavillion and Seattle on the Mantle on Thursday, April 14.
Pavillion is a five-piece band formed out of a love of music and a desire to create a new sound on today’s indie scene.
The second live band night on Friday 13 May will feature Manchester band The Dirty Laces headlining the night with support from Bridlington band The Hilder and Hull band Breeze.
Blackburn band The Illicits will follow on Saturday May 21. The Illicits, since signing to Alan McGee’s Creation23 label, have gone on to have two top ten singles on the UK Vinyl Chart.
They have also toured with Liam Gallagher, Primal Scream, The Zutons and Miles Kane.
Bridlington Spa will also collaborate with Moonbeams to bring top class acoustic, folk and roots music to sessions with the confirmed initial lineup including Edwina Hayes (April 21), Chris Helme (May 26), Joshua Burnell (July 21), Pete Bolton and Friends (August 18), The Trials of Cato (September 8) and Graceland by Gary Stewart (September 22).
Bridlington Spa Managing Director Mark Lonsdale said: “We are delighted to create a smaller performance space that provides a platform for talent from the region and beyond.
“We wanted to have a space with the latest technical equipment while offering a very different atmosphere to our other spaces such as the Royal Hall and the theatre.
“This news follows our previous announcements for this summer when we will welcome McFly, The Kooks, Gabrielle, The Enemy and international clubbing brand Cream – and we haven’t stopped there will be more acts to reveal in the next few weeks.”
