Interactive Makers Faire and Open Mic at Middletown Art Center – Friday, August 5, 5-9pm – The Bloom

Building on a solid entertainment base with Open Mic hosted by Carlos Garay and the Dead Rabbits, plus sourdough pizzas and salad made with organic ingredients from the Mountain Goddess’ cob oven, the Makers Doing takes the local market into a new dimension. Introducing a featured manufacturer each month that will provide an affordable experience.

This Friday features Natural Californian, Suzanna Macedo, designer of cards, prints and homewares featuring natural California plants. The majority of Suzanna’s images are of flora near her home in Cobb. It offers a Create Your Own Map experience for $4. Save a dollar by printing the coupon on the FB event cover image and bringing it to the event.

Another novelty this month: a Free Market stand. Bring in gently used, beloved items and/or bring home treasures that are new to you. (Please ensure that your donated items find a home before the night is over or leave with you. Items cannot be left at the MAC.)
