These conferences are now also offered via zoom (visit for more information).

Marsha McAllister is a longtime resident of San Juan Island and an accomplished artist. She travels fluidly between sculpture and painting, always seeking to innovate in her materials. However, his work is always rooted in his concern and love for the environment. Family travels as a child “inspired a lifelong fascination with the natural world and the magnified experiences of divided space/divided people/what remains.” You can read more about Marsha’s work on her website

Glenn Hendrick was born in Los Angeles, raised in the Midwest, and has lived on San Juan Island since 2013. She earned a degree in painting, drawing, and printmaking from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2006 and creates work in a variety of media, including ceramics, printmaking, textiles, painting, drawing and photography.

Glenn is also co-director of the Alchemy Art Center (with Maria Michaelson) and also teaches classes there. You can read more about Glenn’s art on his website
