Café Beaujolais has generously provided its gardens for dining and kitchen facilities for the preparation of this exquisite meal.

The Fête des Arts is an evening to celebrate the artists in residence of the MAC for their contributions to the art center and to the community, and to raise funds to provide residents with the opportunity to travel to conferences, attend workshops in the art center and deepen their studio practice by providing materials as well as studio space.

The AIR program is an integral part of the Mendocino Art Center. Each year, the MAC brings artists from across the country and even the world to Mendocino for eight months. Artists bring to the art center a perspective and skill set based on their unique experiences, which exposes our community to the broader art world. The energy and inspiration each resident brings is invaluable – their work decorates the MAC campus, they teach classes, share their ideas and insights, and their presence breathes new life into the Art Center each year. .

The MAC’s annual Artists-in-Residence exhibition is currently on view through May 1 and showcases a wide range of new artworks – including functional and sculptural ceramics, paintings and jewelry – created in the studios of MAC art by Winchi De Jesus, Miles McCreary, Grace Potter, Austyn Taylor, and Nan Whitney during their residencies
