For nearly a decade, the Mullica Hill Art Center on Main Street has offered residents of all ages the opportunity to participate in art classes and events and hone their creative side.

We are a family business entering its 10th year,” said owner Chelsea Hallahan, a special needs teacher who leads art center classes with other instructors and helpers. “We offer all types of events.

They include everything from wine and paints and beer and sculptures to weekend crafts and toddler classes.

“My classes, summer camps, and kids’ parties are my most popular events,” Hallahan said. “We offer a free trial class to new students for our children’s classes.”

Events and classes are free, but registration is required due to limited seating for each event and class. Upcoming events include a Girl Scout course on August 11, a woodcarving night on the 12th and a children’s night on the 13th.

The center offers just about any type of art you can imagine, according to Hallahan, and the events don’t stop with the summer. Artists can submit their work for the chance to get their name out there and for all of Mullica Hill to see at the center and on its website.

Artwork in different categories can be found on the featured artists page of the center’s website, where there is also a calendar of events.

To register, complete the form on the Mullica Hill Art Center website or call the center at (856) 418-1135.
