The arts and entertainment industries have been decimated with theaters and other venues shutting down across the globe.

Johnson City’s Goodwill Theater has partnered with New York’s Prospect Theater Company to bring their new Vision series to our community.

Prospect Theater Company created this project to showcase original musical theater works by emerging artists.

Visions will feature six original shirt films exploring the fusion of music and theater from various artists, writers and composers.

Four selections from this project were filmed on location in September at the historic Goodwill Theater and Firehouse building in Johnson City.

The first short film, “La Bande au bout du monde”, is scheduled for release (October 21, 2020).

According to a Goodwill Theater press release, CEO Naima Kradjian said, “We have had a long and rewarding relationship with Prospect Theater Company. When we heard that they were considering creating a video series, but needed a space to create, we were thrilled to open our doors. »
