Theater Huntsville opens new performance space at Lowe Mill

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Huntsville Theater welcomed the community to its new location at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment with a grand opening Wednesday.

Huntsville Theater staff and representatives from the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce introduced the new Studio Theater after a 16-month wait.

The Studio Theater will be used for Huntsville Theater productions and will also be available for rental by community members for other events.

Leslie Gates, executive director of Theater Huntsville, said she was very excited about the new space and the opportunity to allow the community to use it as well.

The Studio Theater’s first show will be Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll starting August 20, followed by the Rocket City Playwrights series in September.
