Ready to do great things this month of AUGUST 2022?! At Art Center Highland Park, we offer a variety of events for all art lovers! Our events are all FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

Bring a blanket, lunch, lawn chairs and catch a classical guitar concert featuring Max Subar on our lawn before strolling through our exhibit, voices and visions. In case of bad weather, the event will be moved indoors. Born and raised in Illinois, and based in Chicago, Max Subar writes songs that attempt to illuminate the invisible. Intimately expressing her inner self and placing honesty at the forefront of the process, her writing seeks the companionship of the listener.
2. Voices and visions

Join us to celebrate the artists behind voices and visions. The theme of this exhibition explores how cancer can be a metaphor both literally and symbolically and features artists whose works address the many issues related to cancer, from fear and in the face of our mortality to the search for strength and the community building.
